This week is Keep New Zealand Beautiful Week. We went for a walk along the Waimea Estuary and we picked up heaps of rubbish in big plastic bags. We walked with our buddy class Kereru but the whole school did the big clean up. We were really tired when we got back to school. We think it is important to look after this beautiful world we live in.
We had a great time with you today Tui class. We sure picked up heaps of rubbish! It was amazing to see what people throw away.
